Terms of Service
Effective date: 2026-06-09
Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms of Service govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between Able Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "Company") and users regarding the use of Cloak Chat (hereinafter "Service").
Article 2 (Definitions)
① "Service" refers to the privacy-protection messenger provided by the Company. To protect chat content, the application is gated by a PIN lock screen, and chat features can only be accessed by entering a pre-registered PIN. ② "User" refers to any member or non-member who uses the Service in accordance with these Terms. ③ "Member" refers to a person who has entered into a service agreement with the Company and obtained an account through phone number verification. ④ "PIN" refers to a 4-digit numeric password set by the user. It is the authentication mechanism used to enter the chat screen from the lock screen.
Article 3 (Effect and Modification of Terms)
① These Terms take effect when posted on the Service or otherwise notified to users. ② The Company may amend these Terms within the scope of applicable law. Amendments shall be announced at least 7 days before the effective date (30 days for material or unfavorable changes), stating the effective date and reason for the change. ③ Users who do not agree to the amended Terms may discontinue use of the Service and request account deletion.

Article 6 (PIN and Unlock Responsibility)

The user must delete their account and register again. ③ The protection display (the appearance method that prevents the chat from being visible to others viewing the device) is a feature for protecting the user's own privacy. If the user uses it beyond its intended purpose—such as misleading others or for illegal acts—all responsibility lies with the user.
Article 7 (Paid Services and Payment)
① The Company provides paid services in the form of monthly/yearly subscriptions. Payments are processed exclusively through Apple App Store (StoreKit) and Google Play (Play Billing) in-app purchase. ② A 7-day free trial is provided upon first registration. If not cancelled before the trial ends, the registered Apple ID or Google account will be automatically charged. ③ Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date through the App Store / Google Play account settings. ④ Refunds are handled by Apple App Store / Google Play under their respective refund policies. The Company does not have authority to issue direct refunds; refund-related inquiries can only be answered with guidance toward the relevant store.

Reverse engineering or unauthorized access through automated means If any of the above is discovered, the Company may restrict service use or permanently suspend the account without prior notice.
Article 9 (Responsibility for Content)
① The user is responsible for all messages, images, and other content sent or received through the Service. ② The Company does not read or monitor message content. (4) The Company is not obligated to notify the reporter individually of the outcome but may communicate as needed in cases of serious violation.
